Ashley Verma

Having already mastered a successful career as an actress, treading the boards of Broadway at the tender age of 19, Ashley knows a thing or two about hard work and determination. As an actress your body and your voice are your tools. Ones to take extra special care of!

The first-hand experience of the intense training you have to put your body through as an actress, to get to the top, taught Ashley the most important lessons in self- care and when she found Barre, her passion for fitness and for inspiring others took over and paved the way for her turn of career into the fitness industry.

Ashley’s fitness journey started in NYC as a trainer with one of the most renowned fitness studios in the city. Quickly establishing herself as the most popular teacher, Ashley had her own ideas on how to really create something special and unique and a fitness concept that would not only see results but was suitable for everyone.

A new-York style barre method characterised by its up-tempo, toning and sweat inducing work outs. Guaranteed to take your body and mind to another level of personal success and sculpt and strengthen the entire body.

Lindsey Pryor

Instructor

Lindsey started her career as a professional dancer performing for TV, Film and live events in the UK and internationally. Through her love of performing she found herself finding a passion for Cheerleading at University and has since gone on to coach award winning competitive teams.

Lindsey’s powerful energy and booming voice will keep you going through class and she will constantly be cheering you on from the sidelines!

Being a Senior Instructor, Lindsey is trained to teach all classes at Define as well as Personal Training sessions. She loves singular moves that challenge the whole body and always throws a cardio blast in when you are least expecting it! Her combos in class are challenging not only for the body but for the mind making sure that you leave class feeling totally empowered.

Music is key in her classes with it hard not to sing along to the playlist but combined with her energy you will push through until the last move!

Ellena Thompson

Instructor

Originally from Derby, Ellena moved to London to pursue a career in performing and all things Musical Theatre. She quickly developed a love of fitness and has trained and worked in group exercise for the past 3 years.

Music is an important factor in Ellena’s classes; she is a big fan of a remix so expect to be pushed to your max whilst listening to some old school classics! She is really passionate about making exercise enjoyable so singing along is always highly encouraged. Nicknamed the smiling assassin, Ellena will always have a spring in her step and a smile on her face whilst getting you through those final 10 reps.

Maddie Harper

Instructor

Maddie trained in Musical Theatre and during her time in the West End she found a love for fitness and the way it made her feel. Let’s remember, it’s not just about the outside it’s about that inside too.

Gabby Lewis-Dodson

Instructor

Gabby trained at Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick where she received a First Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. Upon graduating she went into the West End Company of 42nd Street covering the role of Peggy Sawyer and recently just finished filming Cats: The Movie.

Harriet Doyle

Instructor

Harriet completed her training in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting and has always had a love for everything health, fitness and wellbeing! Her get-up-and-go approach to life rubs off in her classes, meaning that from that first knee lift, your mind and body will be on a non-stop train to creating a stronger, more inspired version of yourself!

Harriet’s classes will not only challenge you physically, but also mentally and you will be left yearning for that final child’s pose after her fiery combos! Her vibrant positivity will help you shake away the stresses of the day and set you up with a mind-set to conquer whatever might come your way. When those final reps seem impossible, you’ll be able to find that inner drive and prove to yourself you’re stronger than you think. If that fails, there are just two simple words that Harriet always relies on; “I Can.”

With the help of some hit pop tunes and funky remixes, Harriet will have you whipped into shape in no time - so grab yourself a sweat towel and we’ll see you at the Barre!

Alexandra Shieron

Instructor

This bright and bubbly Canadian brings her passion and enthusiasm for Barre, fitness and dance to the studio every class. Alexandra recently jumped the pond after living in New York City as a professional dancer, performer and Barre teacher.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at SUNY Purchase College and has performed across the United States, Canada, Australia, China, Ukraine and at sea!

Alexandra might be new to London but is definitely not new to delivering a killer class that will get you shaking! Expect a class that is high energy, focused on correct alignment, individual encouragement and adjustments, and filled with laughter. Alexandra swears by #definenotdiet as her love for donuts and Define are unparalleled. She’s obsessed with both! Follow her adventures on her Instagram account.

Georgina Turier

Instructor

Georgina’s passion for group fitness stems from a life spent in dance studios and found herself regularly taking exercise classes while completing her Degree in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban, not only to supplement her training physically, but also as she found it kept her mental health in tip top shape too!

Now performing professionally Georgina loves how Barre keeps her body super strong and flexible and how every class gives her a chance to push herself a little bit further.

The power of positivity is what G is all about and she loves to see her clients challenging themselves and getting that sweet endorphin release. Georgina loves a cheesy pop throwback to get you grooving and singing away (dance breakouts are actively encouraged here) and she will be right there with you throughout class to help you find that drive and power until the very last big 10!

Lily Howes

Instructor

Lily trained at the Royal Ballet School graduating into a Sarasota Ballet Company in Florida . Moving back to London Lily joined the cast of Phantom of the Opera where she performed a lead role in the ballet chorus for 4 years.
